Profile & Role

H&M Group is growing. In 2015 we opened more than 400 new stores all over the world, entered 5 new Retail markets and 10 new Online markets. This expansion, in combination with ambitious business goals, calls for great logistics.

Within the H&M Group, Global Logistics, are responsible to make our fashion and products flow in a qualitative, efficient, and sustainable way. We put the customer in focus and our job is about fulfilling the customer promise, creating a great online and in-store shopping delivery for all our brands. Our Transport and Trade department plays an important role in our supply chain, building efficient and sustainable transport and shipping solutions where innovation and tendering are big focuses. We are now looking for a people-driven leader for our e-commerce distribution/supply chain team.

About the role

The role has a global focus. You will work cross-functional with several logistics departments at the Head Office and local teams in our countries. You achieve results with goal setting, and a consistent follow up, involving and engaging your team. You embrace our company values and are driven by a will to make a difference. The day to day is varied: you switch seamlessly between operative and strategic actions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Optimize, plan and drive our overall e-commerce distribution result, including setting long-term goals
  • Develop current solutions and ways of working to meet expansion needs and customer expectations
  • Provide conditions for individual growth and development for your team members
  • Support your team in achieving goals within areas such as transport development and tendering
  • Take an active role cross-functional projects in an international environment
  • Proactive analyses leading to clear actions and priorities
  • Budget- and time plan follow-ups

Profile

To succeed in the role we believe you have:

  • Degree in economics and/or engineering (could be compensated with comparable, relevant work experience)
  • A minimum of 5 year´s work experience within the FMCG area, most importantly e-commerce
  • Successfully developed teams and teamwork, i.e. staff responsibility
  • Been part of cross-functional projects, preferably in an international environment
  • Experience from tender processes and negotiations
  • Strong analysing, planning and prioritising skills
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, including fluent written and spoken English
  • The possibility and willingness to travel
