LEAN MANAGER

Norsk Gjenvinning

As a Lean Manager, you will have a central role in the industrialization of Norsk Gjenvinning. Your focus will be on further developing our plant operations, a highly prioritized topic the coming years. The role as a Lean Manager includes focused improvement work, both in the form of projects and daily operations. You will work alongside local management, the operational workforce and top management. The role is a part of Group Staff, but will for the most part be executed at plants. Some travel must be expected.

Norsk Gjenvinning-konsernet er markedslederen i det norske avfalls- og gjenvinningsmarkedet, og bidrar hver dag til en global miljøinnsats i eget nærmiljø. Tjenestene spenner fra avfallshåndtering og salg av avfallsbaserte råvarer til håndtering av farlig avfall, industriservice og gjenvinning av metaller samt rivning og miljøsanering. Vår visjon er at avfall blir løsningen på fremtidens ressursproblem. Konsernet håndterer årlig over 1,8 millioner tonn avfall, og innsatsen er et viktig bidrag til samfunnet og det nasjonale miljøregnskap. Vi er etablert ved over 90 steder i Skandinavia, har 1.400 ansatte og omsetter årlig for 4,2 mrd NOK. Konsernet eies av Altor Fund III. Profile & Role

MAIN TASKS/ ROLE

  • Plan and execute lean/improvement initiatives on prioritized plants
  • Support plant management and the operational workforce
  • Be a collaborative partner to local and central managemet

Language: Candidates must be speaking a Nordic language fluently

Location: Reporting to HQ, Lysaker (Oslo). A large part of work will happen at operational plants (mainly day trips in the Oslo area)
